Nick Lalonde, CFP®, is the founder and lead wealth manager for Third Act Wealth Management, a firm dedicated to empowering high achievers to redefine retirement and thrive in their third act.

Nick discovered his passion for wealth management at a young age. Growing up in a household reminiscent of the Brady Bunch, he was one of six children and always marveled at his parents' ability to provide in abundance. His fondest childhood memories were formed around the dinner table, filled with laughter and shared stories of the day. However, this once joyful and harmonious life was disrupted by the unexpected. Nick's stepfather faced serious health issues that kept him out of work for nearly a year, and economic difficulties in the family business forced his mother to increase her work hours to keep the family afloat. Despite her efforts, their household couldn't survive on one income, leading his parents to make the difficult decision to divorce.

Witnessing his family's financial struggles left a profound impact on Nick. He understands that even the most successful individuals can face unexpected challenges that disrupt their lives and plans. Driven by this understanding, Nick believes that high achievers deserve proactive and insightful financial guidance to ensure their continued success and fulfillment.

Nick founded Third Act Wealth Management in 2023 after gaining valuable experience with two of the largest firms in the country. He firmly believes that the key to achieving personal success lies in helping others achieve theirs. This philosophy has been the cornerstone of his career, leading him to finish in the top 1% in growth among advisors at his prior firm from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, Nick was a finalist for the ThinkAdvisor Luminaries Thought Leadership Award in 2022 and earned the prestigious Five Star Wealth Manager award in 2024.
